Annual Atlanta Breast Cancer Symposium (ABCS)

Meeting Host

Description

This one day, certified CME/CNE meeting, is scheduled to take place from 8AM - 2PM at the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. This symposium is certified and accredited by Johns Hopkins University and supported through an independent medical education grant from Astra Zeneca, Eisai and Novartis.

On behalf of our accreditor, Johns Hopkins University, and the CME/CNE activity co-chairs, Dr. Rodolfo E. Bordoni and Dr. Melissa Camp, we would like to invite you to attend this exciting and informative educational symposium.

There are multiple Professional Education opportunities in breast cancer, across the country. The difference of the ABCS with others is the emphasis in the molecular basis of breast cancer to be applied from early detection to management of advanced disease, beyond progression. The objective of the symposium is to educate the Oncology Community on the rapidly evolving field of breast cancer from molecular biology to the development and clinical application of highly specific molecules to interfere with the cellular machinery allowing the cancer cells to survive, proliferate, and spread.

The meeting format is based on three presentations (45 minutes each) per session, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. We will also have roundtable discussions during a working lunch led by our esteemed faculty.
