In Georgia, lung cancer accounts for 15% of ALL new cancer diagnoses. Because 80% of those with lung cancer present in an advanced stage, it is the leading cancer killer for both men and women in Georgia. Through the efforts of the newly created Georgia Lung Cancer Roundtable (GLCRT), we will make Georgia the nation’s leader in detecting lung cancer at its earliest and most treatable stage.

This meeting, hosted by WellStar Health System, will convene leaders from across Georgia, who are committed to improving lung cancer outcomes.
